In the 1950's, a dream of a new Gospel-centered work in the Monarch Community of Union County was fulfilled when a barn became the home to Morningside Chapel. Fast forward many years later, Morningside Baptist now sits on that same property with the same hope, to see the Gospel change lives in Monarch. Today, by the grace of God, we strive to honor our legacy while pushing forward to the future of ministry and missions ahead of us.

What to expect
You can expect friendly and authentic people, engaging and relevant music and worship, compelling preaching from the Bible, and an opportunity to encounter God. You can expect to find a place where creativity and fellowship come together to worship God in new and exciting ways. You can expect to be encouraged, challenged, convicted, excited and, most importantly, welcomed.
Biblically
grounded
We believe in God's Word.
From cover to cover, and everywhere in between, we believe that God's Word has transformational power when we read it, study it, and apply it to our lives.
Each and every Sunday, we open up God's Word as the ultimate authority in our lives.
Kingdom
focused
The hope of Jesus isn't just for us, or a select group of people. The hope of Jesus is for everyone.
We believe it's the privilege of all believers to share of this hope and tell the world of the grace, love, and hope of Jesus.
radically
generous
In our giving, actions, acts of service, community involvement, or acts of love; our desire is to be radically generous. God has richly blessed us and we choose to be agents of that generosity by being generous to others as a proclamation of God's grace.
Authentic
people
Real people.
Real struggles.
Real life.
So much of our time can be spent seeking to show a "picture perfect" image on Social Media. Our hope is to be a place where we can be real. Real with ourselves, real with God, and real with each other.
